S. Korean Rail Researchers Hold HyperTube Forum

Korean authorities have launched an initiative to build overseas networks to collaborate in developing the futuristic transportation system dubbed HyperTube, which can travel at a speed of one thousand kilometers per hour.
 
The Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology and the Korea Railroad Research Institute held a HyperTube forum in Washington D.C. on Thursday.
 
About 100 scientists from Korea and North America took part in the event to exchange information and share related research data.
 
The HyperTube being built by TransPod in Canada was introduced at the forum.
