The Seoul Metropolitan Government will set up a booth in the center of a major shopping mall in Taiwan’s capital as part of efforts to attract tourists.
The city government announced on Wednesday that it will operate the “Seoul Live Gallery in Taipei” promotional booth for four days in the Eslite Spectrum Mall in Taipei starting from Thursday.
The booth will introduce Seoul’s key attractions, including the Seoul Bamdokkaebi Night Market, Hangang Parks, Bukchon Hanok Village and Seoullo 7017. The booth will also provide visitors with a variety of experience programs.
A major screen will also be set up linking Seoullo 7017 with the booth, enabling citizens of Seoul and Taipei to communicate in real time.
The Seoul government forecasts the booth will draw around 20-thousand people.
The city government plans to operate a similar booth in Hong Kong and Dubai in the second half of the year.
