A 14-year-old South Korean has won first prize in viola at the 24th International Johannes Brahms Competition 2017 that ended in Austria on Friday. 
 
Lee Eun-bin will take home 25-hundred euros in prize money.
 
Lee took part in the competition, which has no age limit, as the youngest contestant and finished top place in viola.
 
Lee started learning the violin at five and switched to viola. She has since won multiple titles at domestic competitions.
 
She's currently a sophomore at Yewon School, a school for arts education, and also attends the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts.
 
The Johannes Brahms Competition established in 1993 is annually held in the six disciplines of piano, violin, viola, cello, voice and chamber music.
