Hanbok Fashion Show to be Held at Gyeongbok Palace

A fashion show featuring Korea's traditional attire will take place under the moonlight at a royal palace in central Seoul next Friday to mark the 21st Hanbok Day.

The Culture Ministry and the Hanbok Advancement Center will host the event, which will begin at 7 p.m. on the Heungyemun Gate plaza at Gyeongbok Palace.

In the first half of the show, hanbok designer Han Eun-hee will showcase 26 outfits. In the second half, Busan-based designer and artist Lee Yeong-ae will present 24 of her hanboks.

This year's event has the dual purpose of promoting the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
