U.S. Military Launches Open Discussion Board on Its Web Site

The U.S. military command said Monday it has launched an open discussion board on its Korean language Web site.
Command officials said the board is aimed at providing the South Korean public with an arena in which they can give feedback on issues and concerns about U.S. troops in South Korea.
Gen. Leon LaPorte, the chief U.S. military commander in South Korea, appealed to South Koreans to use the board to express their views and opinions regarding the U.S. military in the country.
