Justin Thomas Wins Inaugural CJ Cup Title in Korea

American golfer Justin Thomas won the first PGA Tour tournament held in South Korea on Sunday.

Thomas won the inaugural CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges on the southern resort island of Jeju after beating Australian Marc Leishman on the second playoff hole.

Thomas and Leishman finished at nine under 279 throughout four rounds and advanced to the extra hole. After squaring the first playoff hole, Thomas claimed the winner's prize of one-point-665 million dollars when Leishman bogeyed the second.

It’s the seventh career PGA victory for Thomas and his first win in a playoff. He secured four of his seven wins in Asia.
