Four minor aftershocks struck the southeastern city of Pohang in North Gyeongsang Province on Sunday, four days after a five-point-four magnitude quake jolted the city.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the quakes occurred north of the city early on Sunday, measured between two and two-point-four magnitude.

The weather agency assessed that the quakes were aftershocks of the five-point-four magnitude earthquake that rattled the city earlier on Wednesday.

The agency estimated that a total of 56 aftershocks occurred as of Sunday.
