Heavy snow advisories have been issued for parts of Gyeonggi and Gangwon Provinces.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that as of 9:35 a.m. Sunday, heavy snow advisories are in place in 12 cities and counties of northern Gyeonggi Province and most parts of Gangwon Province.

As of 11 a.m. Sunday, Dongducheon and Yangpyeong in Gyeonggi Province received around ten centimeters of snow, while five-point-four centimeters of snowfall was recorded in Chuncheon in Gangwon Province.

Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces are forecast to receive three to ten centimeters of additional snow into Sunday night.
