Flights Delayed and Roads Closed on Snowy Monday

With the heavy snowfall across Seoul and surrounding areas, dozens of flights were delayed on Monday.

As of 11 a.m., Incheon International Airport postponed 89 flights from departing as snow piled as high as five centimeters.

The average waiting time was around 80 minutes for each flight while the snow was cleared.

Passengers travelling to and from the smaller Gimpo airport saw 59 flights delayed and ten domestic flights cancelled.

Within the capital, four roads were closed by authorities to prevent cars from colliding.
