The official IOC Web site is displaying news articles and photos of her Vancouver Olympics performance, which a photo caption states, “left an indelible mark on the history of the Olympic Winter Games.”
The IOC points out Kim brought South Korea its first Olympic figure skating gold with a world record judges' score of 228-point-56 points.
Kim Yu-na is an honorary ambassador for the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
