South Korean president Roh Moo Hyun received a courtesy call at Chong Wa Dae from 340 Korean compatriots from 51 countries, who came to Seoul to take part in the World Korean Leaders' conference.
President Roh praised the Korean expatriates for their contribution to the unity and progress of 6 million overseas Koreans.
The president also asked them to make concerted efforts to accomplish the goal of establishing a pan Korean community by forming networks in this global age.
