Sports Illustrated on Tuesday laid out its predictions for the upcoming PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games and doled out a total of 12 medals to host nation South Korea.
 
The American sporting magazine ranked Norway top of its tally of medal predictions, with a total of 42, followed by Germany with 35, Canada with 30 and the U.S. with 28.
 
The magazine estimates South Korea will take home a total of seven gold medals, four silver medals and one bronze, and will dominate in the women’s short track speed skating category. 

These predictions would rank South Korea tenth overall in terms of total medals.
