The unified Korean women’s ice hockey team suffered another heavy defeat in its final match at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics on Tuesday.  

Korea lost 6-1 to Sweden in the seventh place classification match at Kwandong Hockey Centre, its fifth consecutive defeat of the games. 

Sweden scored first but Korean captain Han Soo-jin equalized in the first period to score her team’s second goal of the tournament. 

Sweden then exerted its superiority over Korea as it scored five unanswered goals to finish comfortable winners.

The result means that Korea finished in last place in the tournament.
