KMA: No. of Days with Yellow Dust This Spring to be Similar to Average Yrs.

The weather agency expects there will be a similar number of days with yellow dust this spring, compared to the average days posted during the past 30 years.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration's three month projection released on Friday, there will be some chilly days throughout March when the Pyeongchang Paralympic Winter Games are held, due to the influence of a cold continental high pressure.

The agency says March, April and May will see three-point-four to seven-point-three days of yellow dust -- similar to that of average years.

It explained that there will be more dust particles generated than the average year due to meteorological factors but there is a low possibility they will sweep into the country.
