Anchor: With the Winter Olympics almost behind us, sports fans are eagerly anticipating professional football. From Thursday, K-League football will kick off on a nine-month season and the 12 teams competing are aiming to put their best foot forward.

Report: The freezing winter has gone and with spring comes football season.
Defending champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors will go head to head with eleven other teams in the K-league One, including Jeju United, Suwon Samsung, Ulsan Hyundai and FC Seoul.
Over the next nine months starting Thursday, each team will be hitting the field in 33 matches and after an interim evaluation, the top six and bottom six teams will hold extra matches to decide the winner.
The worst performer will be knocked out of the league to K-league Two.
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors had a stellar year in 2017 winning 22 out of 38 games, the most in the league.
In addition, it also garnered the most number of goals at 73 and conceded the least number of goals at 35.
With star players like striker Lee Dong-guk and towering Kim Shin-wook in the mix, offense remains strong at Jeonbuk which is hands down the team to beat.
Other teams have recruited competitive foreign players to take their games up a notch.
