China has expressed its best wishes for a successful inter-Korean summit. 

In a regular media briefing on Thursday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said the two Koreas are actively preparing for the event, adding Beijing hopes the meeting will be successful. 

She also said China would like to keep hearing good news regarding Korean Peninsula issues and the right path to solving the issues can be carved.
