President Roh Moo-hyun extended a congratulatory message Wednesday to the Seo-hee military unit now in Iraq participating in post-war reconstruction efforts.

In a telephone conversation with the unit commander, Jeong Gwang-choon, the president congratulated the unit on a job well done and wished for their safe return next month, when they will be replaced by a second contingent.

President Roh also sent Chuseok e-mail greetings and words of encouragement to overseas workers and South Koreans toiling in the world's hinterlands.
