BTS' New Album Tops iTunes 'Top Album' Chart in 65 Countries

The third full-length album by K-pop sensation BTS titled "Love Yourself: Tear" has topped global iTunes charts.

According to the boy band's management agency Big Hit Entertainment, the new album that was released at 6 p.m. Friday ranked number one on iTunes "top album" charts on Saturday in 65 countries, including the U.S., U.K., Australia and Brazil. 

The album's title song "Fake Love" also topped the "top song" charts in 52 nations including Denmark, Chile and Finland.

In the iTunes top song rankings in the U.S., "Fake Love" ranked second and "Intro:Singularity" came in sixth, with all eleven songs on BTS' album ranking within the top 20.

In South Korea, “Fake Love” swept various music charts at number one in just an hour of its release while other tracks on the album are dominating the top ten rankings.
