The Korea Baseball Organization(KBO) announced on Thursday that its games will be broadcast live in Taiwan from this week.

The KBO signed a landmark one-year deal with sports agency MP & Silva to play one regular season game per day on Taiwanese station Sportcast. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

It will be the first time that South Korean baseball games have been broadcast live overseas.

The KBO added said that Sportcast will stream KBO games on its Web site and mobile app, and also compile highlight packages each day.

The match between the NC Dinos and the LG Twins on Thursday evening will be the first game to be shown in Taiwan. The Dinos’ Wang Wei-chung, the first Taiwanese player in the KBO, is expected to take to the mound.
