300mm of Rain to Hit S. Korea over Three Days

South Korea is likely to see heavy rain over the next three days, with up to 300 millimeters of precipitation expected in Seoul and parts of the nation between Sunday and Tuesday.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast that the nation will be affected by the seasonal rain front on Sunday and the season's seventh typhoon Prapiroon from Monday afternoon.

Precipitation is expected to be around 100 to 250 millimeters across the nation, with torrential rain of up to 300 millimeters forecast in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon and the southern coastal areas.

Heavy rain warnings are in place in the cities of Jeolla Province, while heavy rain advisories have been issued for Seoul and the central region and the inland areas in North Gyeongsang Province.
