Only three out of one-hundred vehicles owned by diplomatic missions have paid fines for illegal parking in Seoul.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government says it issued some seven thousand parking tickets to diplomatic vehicles from 2000 until June last year, but fines for only three percent of them have been collected.

That is only some nine million won out of the total two-hundred-80 million won.

The French diplomatic mission topped the list in terms of unpaid fines, followed by Mongolia and Russia.
