The Boryeong Mud Festival, one of the most popular festivals in Korea, opened at Daecheon Beach on the west coast Friday. 

This year's event, which runs until July 22nd, features some 60 activities and events, including perennial favorites such as mud slides, an air bounce and mud baths, as well as newly launched offerings including an obstacle course. 

There will also be K-pop concerts, an air show, a marathon and a yacht parade. 

Entrance fees for adults are 12-thousand won during weekdays and 14-thousand won during weekends.
