Hong Kong finished second with 61 points, while China settled for the bronze with at total 31 points.

With this latest gold, Na has become the first South Korean athlete to win as many as four gold medals at the Indonesian Games, following her victories in the individual road race and time trial as well as team pursuit. It is also the first time a South Korean cyclist has swept four events at an Asian Games.

The madison is a long-distance relay competition among teams of two. It was named after Madison Square Garden in the U.S. state of New York, where the first competition of its kind was held.
