The Seoul Metropolitan Government on Tuesday issued an ultrafine dust advisory as the level of microscopic particles remains high throughout the capital.

The preliminary advisory is issued when the particulate matter levels stay above 75 micrograms per cubic meter for more than two hours.  

The city is advising citizens to refrain from going outside, particularly those with respiratory or cardiovascular problems, the elderly and children.
