Japan will resume commercial whaling. 

Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said in a media briefing on Wednesday that the country will resume commercial whaling from July of next year and will withdraw from International Whaling Commission. 

The Japanese government plans to resume whaling in its exclusive economic zone, causing concern to South Korea, which shares parts of the zone with Japan.
