A 350-member military force comprised of South Korean Suh Hee and Jema units has returned to Seoul safely after successfully completing its six-month tour of duty in Iraq.

The non-combat troops had been stationed in Nasiria, aiding in the reconstruction of Iraqi infrastructure, including schools and roads, and providing medical care to 4,000 civilians in that area.

The remaining contingent of 320 South Korean soldiers still in Iraq are set to return home on October 23rd.

Meanwhile, a second batch of Suh Hee and Jema unit troops left Seoul for Iraq Thursday to replace the comrades who returned home today.
