South Korea's Little Angels Art Troupe has started a two-day performance in Shanghai.

The first day of performance at a Shanghai theater on Friday drew a large audience. On Saturday, the children's art troupe will give a colorful performance at the Dongfangmingzhu Square in the eastern Chinese city, which has emerged as the showcase of China's modernization.

The performance tour was organized by the Korean National Tourism Organization to promote South Korea's traditional culture and to attract Chinese tourists to the nation.

The state-run tour agency is hoping that the event will help enhance the nation's image in Shanghai, which has emerged as China's largest Korea-bound tourist base.
