President Roh Moo-hyun has said the Korean people do not support in the least the combatant labor movement that has spawned a series of crippling strikes over the past months.

The president made the remarks Friday night during a dinner he hosted for visiting foreign CEOs, telling the foreign guests that the Korean public supports in principle his stance on the current labor movement.
