2003 Korea Machinery Fair To Open in Seoul Monday

The 2003 Korea Machinery Fair is to begin in Seoul on Monday, featuring the latest systems and technologies in the machinery industry.
The machinery fair a biennial international exhibition of capital goods organized by the Korea Association of Machinery Industry and sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy. The event will run through November 8th at the COEX exhibition hall in southern Seoul.
According to the organizers of the event, a total of three-hundred-55 machinery makers from 18 countries are scheduled to display around six-thousand items.
The 2003 Korea Machinery Fair is the 14th edition since its inauguration in 19-77, and will be divided into seven sections: metalworking and tools, factory automation, pack and logistics, environment, pumps and pneumatics, energy facilities and industrial machinery.
Organizers forecast that around two-thousand foreign buyers and more than 100-thousand participants will take part at this year's event, generating about eight-hundred-50 million U.S. dollars in export contracts.
