Korea Air Show to open Tuesday

The Korea International Airshow 2003, showcasing new developments in the Korean aerospace and defense industry, along with an acrobatic airshow, is set to kick off in Busan Tuesday.

On Monday, a press day was held at the Haeundae beach area, introducing the new parts and technologies of the aerospace industry to the news media, along with a rehearsal of the acrobatic airshow flight teams.

A total of 183 business enterprises from 20 countries are taking part in the airshow, during which an assortment of ultra-modern aerospace devices, including unmanned aviation vehicles, communication equipment, missiles, and satellites will be displayed.

A total of 60 Korean firms are participating in the show.
