S. Korea Ranks 4th in ITU Digital Access Index

South Korea came in 4th this year in terms of Digital Access Index, which is the first global index to rank Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

According to the list drawn up by the International Telecommunication Union, Sweden ranked first, followed by Demark and Iceland.

It was the first time for Seoul to receive an official recognition in the ICT field by an international body.

The Digital Access Index covers a total of one-hundred-78 nations and distinguishes itself from other indices by including a number of new variables, such as education and affordability.
