92 countries, including South Korea, participating in an international meeting in Geneva seeking to ban or limit the use of inhumane conventional weapons, officially adopted a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on rendering technical assistance and cooperation to remove and dismantle un-detonated bombs leftover from military conflicts.

The MOU on un-detonated ordinances is the fifth so far that the parties have agreed to in the course of the meeting. Other MOUs agreed upon include the addressing of anti-personnel landmines, incendiary bombs, and blinding laser weapons.
