The western parts of the Jeolla provinces and eastern North Gyeongsang Province will have less than 3 centimeters of snowfall during the day with a 30 to 80 percent chance of snow, the agency said.

Weather officials said the mercury will go up on Tuesday with morning lows of around minus 9 to 1 degrees Celsius nationwide. During the daytime, temperatures will rise to 4 to 9 degrees, it added, but morning lows for the next few days will stay below zero.
