S. Korea Elected Council Member of UNIDO, FAO

South Korea has been elected as a council member of the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) as well as the Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The Foreign Ministry said Monday that South Korea was elected as an FAO council member for the 2004 to 2006 term during the 32nd session of the organization's conference in Rome last Friday.

Also last Friday, South Korea was elected a member of UNIDO
