S. Korea Reports 18 New COVID-19 Cases

South Korea reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday following a cluster outbreak related to clubs in Seoul's Itaewon neighborhood.

According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 17 of the 18 cases reported throughout Friday were domestic infections, with one imported case.

This raises the accumulated total to ten-thousand-840.

For the second day, no coronavirus deaths have been reported. The death toll remains at 256.   

Eighty-four more patients have fully recovered and been released from quarantine, raising the total number of cured patients to nine-thousand-568. Over a thousand patients are still being treated.
