North Korea reportedly claimed that it has conducted coronavirus tests on nearly eleven-thousand people but no outbreak has been reported in the country yet.

According to the latest weekly situation report on COVID-19 by the World Health Organization(WHO) on Tuesday, the North has conducted tests on a total of ten-thousand-960 people from November 27 to December 10.

The WHO report said North Korea claimed that all the people tested negative for the virus.

About 44-hundred of them reportedly showed flu-like symptoms or had a fever while they were under quarantine.

The report added that more than 33-thousand people have been released from quarantine as of December 3.

North Korea has repeated its claims that it has no confirmed COVID-19 cases, while maintaining strong anti-virus measures and border closures.
