A local court will resume a hearing on Thursday afternoon to deliberate an injunction filed by Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl to halt the two-month suspension he received from a Justice Ministry disciplinary panel.

The Seoul Administrative Court is set to reopen the hearing at 3 p.m. to decide whether to grant an injunction filed by Yoon.

In the first hearing held on Tuesday, the court gave a questionnaire on the case to Yoon's lawyers and the Ministry of Justice. 

The questionnaire reportedly demanded detailed explanations and grounds for irreparable damage from the suspension, reasons for the disciplinary measure and the legality in the formation of the disciplinary panel. 

The two sides are expected to have a fierce legal battle based on their answers to the questionnaire in the second hearing.
