U.S. Forces Korea(USFK) will begin to administer COVID-19 vaccines to frontline health care workers and first responders on Tuesday.

A USFK official told American Forces Network on Monday that vaccinations will begin for such personnel from Tuesday at U.S. bases in Osan, Gunsan and Pyeongtaek.

Citing that the vaccination is voluntary, the official advised all such personnel to get vaccinated if possible.

Last Friday, the USKF received its first batch of Moderna's coronavirus vaccine approved for emergency use.
