A religion-linked educational facility in the central city of Daejeon has reported a cluster of coronavirus infections of nearly 130 cases. 

According to the city government on Sunday, an unauthorized international school that fosters and trains missionaries reported 127 infections. 

Two students at the school with about 150 students and teachers first tested positive on Sunday before 125 more were confirmed to have contracted the virus. 

The confirmed patients will be sent to a treatment center in Asan in South Chungcheong Province on Monday, while those who tested negative will be placed under self-isolation.

Health authorities shut down the facility and plan to carry out virus tests at similar facilities in the city after consultation with the city's educational office.
