Rain or snow is expected in most parts of the nation on Thursday along with strong typhoon-class wind.
The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) forecast that most parts of the nation will see rain or snow during daytime beginning with western regions.
As much as over 15 centimeters of snow is expected in mountain areas on Jeju Island and eastern inland areas in Jeolla Province through Friday morning. Up to ten centimeters of snow is forecast in eastern Gyeonggi, Gangwon, South Jeolla and North Chungcheong provinces.
Seoul is expected to see two to seven centimeters and other parts of the central region will see one to five centimeters.
The weather agency also forecast strong winds at a maximum of over 20 meters per second in most parts of the nation, calling for caution in facility management.
The strong winds are likely to pull down temperatures as well, with the morning lows expected to fall to minus 12 degrees Celsius in Seoul on Friday. The wind chill temperature is forecast to drop to about minus 20 degrees.
