A survey shows that the April 15th parliamentary elections are likely to be heavily influenced by the Internet.

Survey firm P & P Research conducted a poll on some one-thousand netizens across the country and found that more than 60 percent of respondents rely on the Internet as their primary source of information on elections.

The Internet was followed by TV and newspapers as main information sources.

Citing the existence of more than 30 million Internet users in the country, the polling agency forecast that the Internet would exert significant effect on upcoming general elections.
