South Korea suffered a crushing 3-0 loss in a friendly football match against Japan on Thursday. 

South Korea’s national team, led by manager Paulo Bento, allowed two goals in the first half during the match at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, south of Tokyo. 

In the second half, Team Korea failed to pursue any offensive plays and ended up allowing another goal to Japan. 

While Japan had ten shots on target during Thursday’s match, South Korea managed only one. 

The latest match was reminiscent of the South Korea-Japan match held back in 2011 in which Team Korea was also crushed by a score of 3-0.
