Two Koreas Agree to Hold High-level Military Talks

South and North Korea have concluded their 13th Cabinet-level talks after announcing a joint statement.

In the six-point joint statement signed Friday morning, the two sides agreed to cooperate for a successful next round of six-way nuclear talks and to promptly hold inter-Korean military talks in order to ease military tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

The two Koreas also agreed to actively pursue the development of the first phase of the Gaesong industrial complex within the first half of this year and to hold the ninth reunion of separated family members at the North
