Prosecution to Re-Summon Junior Chun Monday

Prosecutors say they will re-summon Monday the second son of former president Chun Doo-hwan for questioning.

Prosecutors had questioned Chun Jae-yong last week on allegations that he may be hiding illicit money his father stashed away while still in office.

According to the prosecution, the junior Chun had testified that he had inherited the 17 billion won from his grandfather-in-law found in his bank accounts opened under a borrowed name. However, prosecutors say there is little credibility in the testimony, saying they will decide whether to issue an arrest warrant on charges of evading gift taxes.
