Five patients who have been treated for fever at a Hong Kong hospital have tested negative for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.
But the hospital said in a statement Wednesday that it is still awaiting the results of tests on five other patients. Two of them were being X-rayed after being diagnosed with pneumonia-like symptoms.
All 10 patients were put under surveillance after developing fevers on Monday at the Prince of Wales Hospital, where the city's first outbreak of SARS was reported last year.
