U.S. President George W. Bush has reiterated his call for North Korea and Iran to fully dismantle their nuclear weapons programs.

Speaking at the National Defense University in Washington Wednesday, Bush also said that active diplomatic efforts are underway to resolve such nuclear issues.

In particular, Bush said North Korea is posing a serious threat to the world by testing long-distance ballistic missiles and developing nuclear arms.

Bush said that America and the entire civilized world will face this threat for decades to come and that the world must confront the danger with open eyes and unbending purpose.
