Report: S. Koreans Most Conservative in NE Asia

A report released by a university says South Koreans have the most conservative views among three major Asian nations on family, gender equality and wealth distribution.

The East Asian Research Institute at Ulsan University based its findings Wednesday on a survey conducted on one-thousand-500 families in South Korea, Japan and China.

The survey asked five-hundred households in each country questions on various family issues and found that all three countries believe family and blood ties are an important part of social interaction.
