Organizing Committee for 2006 Geumsan World Ginseng Expo Kicks into Gear

The Organizing Committee of the 2006 Geumsan World Ginseng Expo has kicked off operations in South Chungcheong Province.
The committee held a board meeting Saturday and approved its official plans and budget for 2004.
The committee said they would focus their tasks for this year on designing the event site and completing a detailed related plan for various meetings, transportation and accommodation.
Geumsan, a famous ginseng mecca in Korea, will host a world expo in September and October, 2006, as a way to publicize top-notch quality Korean ginseng to the global community.
