The two Koreas may march together at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2004 Athens Olympics in August.

The chairman of the North Korean Olympic Committee, Park Myung-chul, proposed Monday to hold talks to discuss the idea on the sidelines of the five-day National Olympic Committee meeting in Athens starting on Sunday.

The proposal was conveyed through a liaison officer at the truce village of Panmunjom on Monday. North Korea also proposed to hold separate discussions on cross-border sports exchanges.
