Foreign Minister Urges N.Korea to Freeze Nukes for Compensation

With only three days remaining before the second round of six-way nuclear talks in China, Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon says North Korea must freeze all its nuclear activities before demanding compensation.

Ban, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia, told reporters that unless Pyongyang freezes all nuclear activities based on highly enriched uranium and allow nuclear inspections, compensations will not be made.

Ban said the focus of the pending six-way talks should be on seeking common grounds between North Korea
